RECIPE: Special black pepper meat

This recipe is a ‘just give it a try’ recipe without guidance or recipe sharing by others. The outcome was really satisfying and without realising you have finished a whole plate! It will not take long as it is quite simple. Try it as it is quite different from the others.

1/2 kg meat
1/2 red capsicum
1/2 yellow capsicum
1/2 green capsicum
1 shallot
3 garlic cloves
1 onion
3 tea spoons of blended black pepper
3 tea spoons of chili sauce
3 tea spoon of sweet soysauce
1 ladle of olive oil

How to cook

Slice the meat to small portions. Make those sliced are not too thin nor too thick.

Cut all the capsicums to small pieces.

Slice thin all the garlics and shallot.

Cut the onion to small pieces.

Mix the black pepper, the soy sauce and the chilli sauce.

Put in the olive oil into the pan and heat it.

Put in shallot and garlic. Stir until you get the nice smell of them.

Put in the mixture of black pepper, chilli sauce and soy sauce.

Stir for a while and then put in the meat. Mix all if them and put pan cover. Put something heavy like mortar on the pan cover. This will act like a pressure cooker to soften the meat.

Let it be for about 5-10 minutes. Then, open it. Stir for a while and then cover it back like before for another 5 minutes.

Open the cover. Put the capsicums. Stir and mix everything evenly and put back the cover. Leave it for about 3-5 minutes.

Open the cover and put in the onion a little amount of salt. Stir them together for a while and you are done.


1) tasty even if you eat it by itself. You can also eat it with rice or bread.

  1. The colours of the capsicums are just for appetite attraction. Just using single colour capsicum will not affect the taste.
